Timothy J. Kritter, President

Timothy J. Kritter founded TJK Design Build, Inc one early Monday morning at his modest dining room table back in 1992.  Tim started working in the Madison construction market right out of college and began making a name for himself.  Tim has now successfully worked in the Greater Madison Area design and construction industry for over 37 years, 30 of which have been at the helm of TJK.  Tim received his architectural degree from UW-Milwaukee and his structural engineering degree from UW-Madison.  With professional registration as an architect and structural engineer, Tim has utilized this rare combination of technical ability and hands-on building construction experience to design and construct many challenging and diverse building projects.

Tim continues to run TJK with the same motto he adopted from the start: Work Hard, Be Fair, Have Fun.  He currently lives in Madison with his wife Liz Kritter, “doin their thing.” He spends his free time staying busy with the dogs, the great outdoors and catching up and hangin’ with his kids when he can!
